My work is not about me.
My work is about those who speak.
People who always have a reason
for what they say and what they do.
With interests and a history
that I as a last-minute guest of honour
cannot always fully be aware of.
That is why I always respect
what people say
and how they say it.
As such I’m a different person every day
because I feel – a tiny bit –
like those on whose behalf I speak.
